1. The participants need to deposit a non-refundable amount of 50% of the total fee at the time of registration. Registration amount must be paid in full one month prior to the initiation of the retreat. 
  2. In case of cancellation by the participant, only 50% of the amount will be refunded. Absolutely no amount is refundable, if the participant cancels 10 days prior to the retreat. 
  3. In case of cancellation of the retreat, due to unavoidable circumstances, 100% amount will be refunded to the participant. 
  4. Ananda Yoga retreat team has the right to modify the itinerary, to accept or retain any person as a participant in the program at any time, or to withdraw the tour if they deem it necessary for the comfort, convenience or safety of the participants. 
  5. The participants take full responsibility for their own health and well-being during the program and understand the risks of travel in the developing world. The retreat team is not responsible for injuries or other medical or emotional problems that might occur. 
  6. The participants must take care of their personal belongings at all times. The Retreat team is not responsible for any loss of baggage or personal belongings of the participant. 
  7. Special requests and dietary preferences should be specified at the time of booking. Whilst every effort will be made to fulfil these requests, we cannot guarantee that these requests will be met.
  8. Participants must carefully read and adhere to the rules and regulations of the Retreat Programme. 

RULES AND REGULATIONS: 

  1. The nature of the programme is spiritual and intended to promote physical & mental well-being. Therefore, absolutely no alcohol, tobacco, meat, fish, or eggs are allowed during the programme. 
  2. Absolutely no drugs are to be taken or distributed during the programme. Any knowledge of anyone involved in the use, possession or distribution of drugs must be reported to the team immediately. 
  3. The retreat premises not a social club or resort. The guest’s behavior and attitude, both in private and public should respect that of Indian culture and should act to enhance the spiritual atmosphere of the programme. 
  4. To respect the local culture and the monastic tradition, kindly restrain expressions of affection such as hugging or kissing in public. 
  5. Nudity is forbidden. Transparent and revealing clothing are not permitted during the program. 
  6.  Guests are requested to observe silence during meals and between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am daily. Noise or loud talking is not permitted. 
  7. The playing of heavy music, rock music, etc. is strictly forbidden during the program. Any music played should be of Sattvic nature and not disturb others (headphones are required). 
  8. Temple Rules: The atmosphere in the temple areas should be kept especially pure. At least one’s hands, feet and face should be washed and clean before entering the area. There should not be unnecessary talk or chatter in the temple. Ladies who are menstruating should not visit the temple. The temple area is to be regarded as a place of worship and meditation. 
  1. Shoes are not allowed in the practice, worship and dining areas. Avoid pointing your feet to the altar or teacher as this is considered disrespectful.
